Visiting Buenos Aires offers many lodging possibilities. However, If you would like a unique experience you may consider staying in a home. The Cossovich family are the proprietors of a large residence built in the early 1900's and is full of character. It is elegant, magical and exudes Victorian influence.

The Recoleta Guest House is situated in the Recoleta neighborhood which is located close to major attractions in BA. Much of the neighborhood resembles parts of Paris and large trees adorn the area. Prices range from $35 to $50 per night and includes breakfast. The Cossoviches have secured a worldwide following and yet is a real traveler's secret for those who seek out the unusual.

Culture Cues Argentina

  • Argentines dine in the continental manner of using the knife in the right hand and the fork in the left. Hands should be above the table.
  • Personal space is closer then the United States.
  • Good eye contact is normal in talking to others.
  • You will find many people in Argentina speak German, French, Italian and English.
